Meet Silvio — Brazilian Grill Master in the South Bay

I'm Silvio Correa — Grill Master, chef, and your host.

My story started in São Paulo, Brazil, where at 14 I was already known as "the barbecue guy" among friends at Maresias Beach. In 2000, I brought that fire to Los Angeles, and by 2003 I had launched one of the largest Brazilian catering companies in the area.

Over 20+ years, my team and I have grilled for Coachella and Stagecoach — 4,000 pounds of meat in a single weekend — and for corporate clients like Sony, Paramount Studios, SoFi Stadium, and Fox Sports. Along the way, we were voted Best BBQ in the South Bay eight times.

Signature dishes like my Original BBQ Chicken — my grandmother's recipe, the dish that put Silvio's BBQ on the map — and our famous Ipanema Dressing carry the flavors I grew up with.

Today, as co-founder of Silvio's House on the Hermosa Beach Pier, I keep doing what I've always done: bringing people together through fire, flavor, and unforgettable meals.
